There are so many hair transplant doctors out there to choose from. I’d like to go to a good doctor, but how do I figure out who is good and who is mediocre? What criteria can I use to evaluate a hair transplant doctor? — E.H.

Thanks for the question. You are right, there are many hair transplant doctors, but a handful that peform ultra-refined follicular unit grafting with a track record of consistency supported by photo and video documentation. One does have to be careful. An excellent guide, Choosing a Hair Transplant Doctor, has a checklist of criteria that you can use to evaluate a hair transplant doctor. I think the bottom line, for many patients, will always be documented results, tens of them, in photo and video.
