Hairline Lowering

I have a large forehead and suffer from Male Pattern Baldness. When you do a hair transplant, is it possible to put the hairline in a lower position then my pre baldness hairline so it eliminates two problems at once? — S.

Hello S. Yes, it is sometimes possible to give you a hairline that is in a lower position than you had prior to receding. It would be dependent on a few factors: how much hair loss exists in other areas that the hair transplant must address, the amount of available donor hair, and possible future hair loss. These factors all play a role in the appropriate placement of your hairline. A consultation would be necessary to assess your particular case.
