What is the cost of hair transplantation? How does follicular unit transplantation compare to FUE or other methods? I’m having difficulty deciding how to evaluate a clinic. Money, unfortunately, is always a concern. — R.A.

Dear R.A. Thanks for the question. As of this writing, our hair transplant costs are $5/graft for the first 2000 grafts then $3/graft (USD) for each graft thereafter in the same surgical session. As for comparing, it really is difficult. You have to compare the apples with apples. It like buying anything: you get what you pay for, but more than that, cost is dependent upon many factors, including the skill and experience of the doctor and his team and the method of hair transplantation being used.
