Dear Hasson and Wong, when did Hasson & Wong start performing hair transplant surgery? When were megasessions available? Did you have a website before 2000? Sadly, I didn’t know about you then…I only wish I had. I just punish myself for not finding you because it’s so easy to be misled. Many thanks. — P.B.
Thanks for writing. Doctor Jerry Wong and I have been performing hair transplants together since 1997. Certainly, the Hasson & Wong web presence was not as strong back then, so it is not a surprise that you did not find us. It was about the year 2000 that we began performing megasessions and when peers and patients began taking notice of the consistency of results, and size of Hasson & Wong hair transplant sessions. Megasessions, at that time, were any transplant over 2000 grafts, now, with improvements and refinements in technique, we routinely perform 4000+ graft hair transplants, and have even performed surgeries over 7500, with 8500 being our largest and the most number of grafts transplanted by any hair transplant clinic in a single session.
Please don’t punish yourself for your decision. At that time, Hasson & Wong was not as well known as now. It wasn’t until about 2003/2004 that people began recognizing Hasson & Wong as a leader in the field.
